Hi there sorry I do not know what mace is and the dictionary is not helping. What is it made of?

Mace is a culinary spice obtained from the dry covering of the nutmeg fruit seed. It is similar in flavour to nutmeg but not quite as sweet. Available from all good food shops/supermarkets.

This sounds interesting and delish, but am wondering what to serve it with?
