Would it be alright to slice the cucumbers length wise as mine are minature cucumbers and leave fairly large as you see in the shops

Great site for recipes:) I've tried beetroot relish, green tomato chutney, curried apple chutney, plum jam and am just going to try pickled cucumber all with great success.
