I bought a celery from the greengrocers with masses of top leaf still on it. I've just made this soup, and included the leaves in the 900g of celery. I also added a little celery salt and white pepper. I make a lot of soups, and this is without doubt one of the best recipes that i have done. Fantastic.

I had a lump of Stilton in the fridge and crumbled this into the soup at the end. Lovely!

I've never made soup but I followed this one it turned out fantastic. I was so proud of myself, even my mother in law enjoyed it. Not one for the kids though, well not my eldest must try more. Will definitely make again.

Made this last night, lovely, even my friends who weren't fans of celery enjoyed it. Added a clove of garlic and a few baby new potatos, yum.

Excellent soup,the celery I used was at least two weeks old and this was still a very tasty soup, even my son loved it and he is not struck on celery.
I will definitely be making this again, next time with fresh celery.
