Pizza Neapolitan Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450 g) pizza dough (See Pizza Dough recipe)
  • 1 lb (450 g) tomatoes - peeled and sliced if fresh, crushed if tinned
  • 8 oz (225 g) Mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
  • 12 anchovy fillets
  • Finely chopped oregano
  • Olive Oil

Method:

  1. Prepare the Pizza Dough.
  2. Spread with tomatoes with the Mozzarella on top.
  3. Garnish with the anchovies and spinkle with oregano and olive oil.
  4. Bake as described under Pizza Dough.

Makes one large pizza. If smaller pizzas are required, divide the dough into small lumps, roll into balls and leave to rise separately.
