Root Veg Mash Recipe

- Peel 1 medium swede, 2 medium turnips and 1 large celeriac.
- Chop all into 1 inch pieces.
- Place in large pan and cover with milk.
- Add a few peppercorns and a bay leaf and a sprig of rosemary.
- Boil for 20 mins until all veges are soft.
- Drain and remove the herbs and peppercorns.
- Mash with a potato masher and serve.
Great with sausages instead of normal mash or as topping for shepherds pie. No need to add any oil or butter so very healthy too!
