Garlic Vinegar Recipe

Ingredients:
  • 10 cloves of garlic, pealed and split into halves
  • 1 pint (570 ml) white wine vinegar or distilled white malt vinegar
Method:
  1. Put the garlic into a wide-mouthed warm sterilized jar.
  2. Bring the vinegar to the boil before pouring over the garlic.
  3. Cover tightly and leave to stand in a sunny place fort 3 to 4 weeks, shaking occasionally.
  4. Strain through muslin and pour into a sterilized jar.
  5. Seal and label.

Makes about 1 pint (570 ml) of Garlic Vinegar.
