Elderflower Cordial Recipe

Ingredients:
- 20 heads of elderflowers
- 1.8 kg of sugar
- 1.5 litres of water
- 2 lemons, zested and sliced
- 75g citric acid
Method:
- Put water and sugar into a large pan, dissolve over a low heat then bring to the boil.
- Put the flower heads, lemon zest and lemon slices into a large bowl, pour over sugar syrup and stir in citric acid, cover and leave for 24 hours sieve through a muslin cloth and bottle.
Very refreshing with tonic water and ice.

Hi thanks for this reciepe I have been looking for this for ages. Will try next year when the flowers are about. My question is how long does the cordial last or can it be frozen
