Oh No – Marrow! Recipe
- Cut a marrow into slices about 1/2" thick. Cut off rind and remove seeds.
- Flour each piece and quickly dip in a lightly beaten egg.
- Dip into breadcrumbs to coat.
- Fry until golden colour.
- Keep hot in oven until needed.
Note: The grandchilden wil actually eat these with a poached egg in the centre or with stewed apple and ginger and quick poached bacon bits to top.

Wow, what a great recipe and I like the title too! Every time I heard of a marrow recipe, it's usually with cheese. I'll have to try this with all the marrow we've been harvesting from our allotment. Thanks!

I tried this on my 2 year old daughter and wife, who both ate it, but the amazing thing was the dog. For 8 years has shown his ability to eat everything on a plate except courgettes – he will eat a stew but leave the courgettes licked clean on the side of the plate. This time the dog ate all the leftovers without even blinking. Incredible!
