At last we have a new sweet almond that is truly adapted to our British climate! Mandaline comes from the latest breeding program in France and does not flower until mid April when most of the harsher weather has passed. The delicious nuts which fall from the tree through autumn are soft shelled and much easier to crack than some. Trees are self fertile.
