• Each Worm Cafe comes complete with:
• Housing - one of the easiest to use and most efficient wormeries on the market. The structure of the trays makes it easy to access the compost; whilst a sump in the raised base lets you turn on a tap for a rich liquid plant feed
• A bedding block
• 500g (approx. 1000) native composting worms – despatched in special packaging with your wormery so they arrive in tip top condition they will need transferring into the bedding in your wormery within 2-3 days of receipt
• 2kg Anti Acid Lime Mix – add a handful of this neutraliser to your wormery every couple of weeks to prevent the build up of acid. This Lime Mix also helps to prevent odours, white worms and flies. This mix also contains grit – good for the worms' digestion
• 2kg Worm Treat – this is a natural accelerator for the wormery. A special mixture of things which worms love best, simple mix a handful of the Worm Treat into your composter every few weeks to give it a boost. The pellets also soak up any excess moisture – helping keep the wormery running efficiently
• One Moisture Mat – this helps to keep the worms insulated and moist. This breathable mat is made from 600g/sq.m. hemp fibre matting. By placing this on the surface of your composter you"ll be encouraging the worms to work in the freshest waste – so speeding up the composting activity and reducing odours
