It employs a cutting drum mechanism which reduces noise emissions to only 84 dB(A) and has a high performance 2200 W "High-Power" motor with optimum torque. The unique reverse action of the Block Release System safely releases blockages without the need for dismantling the hopper.

The material produced by the Bosch AXT 2200 HP shredder is ideal for rapid composting. It has a robust stand for greater stability with wheels to cope with steps and overload cut-out to protect the motor and gears.
