Atco Quiet Garden Shredders provide a convenient means to dispose of the large amounts of waste the average garden generates each year and a vital source of compostable material.

The Atco 1800 Quiet Garden Shredder utilises a spiral blade shredding system that revolves at 260 rpm and creates significantly less noise than traditional impact blade shredders - in fact only 84 decibels!

Automatic feed and reverse feed are featured in case of blockage. The shredded material, which includes branches up to 35 mm in diameter, undergoes a cutting and crushing action producing small fractures in the waste chippings.

This allows access for micro-organisms and oxygen which accelerate the composting process. The shreddings can be deposited straight onto a compost heap or used as a decorative weed suppressant and mulch on flowerbeds.

This powerful 1800 Watt shredder has a work rate of 115 kg of waste per hour. As with all Atco Garden Shredders, 5m of cable is supplied and a 1 year parts/labour warranty is included.
