Adding this traditionally designed Rod Thermostat to a soil warming cable will enable you to obtain maximum economy and temperature control.

• 720 watts maximum load.
• Temperature range 0-40?Centigrade/32-104?Fahrenheit.
• A neon light indicates when power is being consumed. 
• Supplied with a 6ft (183cm) mains lead and fitted 3 amp plug. 
• Dimensions: 4?" x 2?" (11cm x 7cm) control box, 10" (25.5cm) long temperature sensing rod.

To Use Rod Thermostat

Attach the control box to the side of your propagating tray with the temperature sensing rod positioned through a 9mm diameter hole so that it sits just below the surface on which the seed trays sit.

The Rod Thermostat may also be used for sensing air temperatures.We don't recommend this thermostat for use with mist propagation systems - a more suitable thermostat is the Professional Rod Thermostat.
