Use this traditional Professional Rod Thermostat to control soil warming cables in large propagation benches (inc. mist benches).

Will operate a heating appliance rated up to 3KW.

Temperature range 0-40 Centigrade/32-104 Fahrenheit.

Two neon lights - one to indicate when the unit is switched on, one to indicate when power is being consumed.

Dimensions: 5" x 3?" (13cm x 9cm) control box, 18" (46cm) long temperature sensing rod.

To Use Rod Thermostat

Attach the control box to the side of the bench with the temperature sensing rod positioned through a 10mm hole so that it sits just above the soil warming cable.
The thermostat can also be used to sense air temperature, when it should be mounted on a wall. Maximise economy and temperature control from heating appliances by incorporating a thermostat. All are supplied with good wiring diagrams but, if in any doubt, it's probably best to have them installed by an electrician.
