These Pot Jackets protect the vulnerable roots of container-grown plants from cold and frost damage, especially during spells of freezing winter weather. The jackets offer a simple, easy and attractive solution to protecting root systems from low temperatures, and cold, drying winds. Any pot up to 40cm dia. is simply stood on the 6cm base of insulating polystyrene, and the pot jacket is drawn snugly around it. Secure Velcro fastenings hold the jacket in place, while a fast-pull drawstring holds it close to the base of the plant.
