Flower & Plant - Fertiliser Blocks from TwoWests & Elliott

Gardena has developed these Fertiliser Blocks to enable you to easily and cleanly provide the correct nutrients to your plants, flowers, vegetables or lawn as you water.

Designed for use with either the Gardena Fertiliser Pulse Spray Gun or Fertiliser Dispenser.

As the fertiliser is dissolved into the water the nutrients and micronutrients are quickly absorbed by the plants and start to work immediately.

Three types of blocks available:

Flower and Plant - to provide the correct nutrients for most flowers and patio plants. Start to fertilise your plants approximately 4 weeks after planting, applying around the roots and leaves of the plants for best results.  NPK Value 15-11-15. Gardena product code: 6400-22.

Fruit and Vegetable - to provide the correct nutrients for fruits and vegetables. Start to fertilise the ground 1 - 2 weeks prior to planting, continuing to apply fertilise after planting until you harvest. NPK Value 14-8-16. Gardena product code: 6420-22.

Lawn - to provide the correct nutrients for your lawn. Apply fertilise to your lawn regularly, continuing to fertilise into September and October ensuring your lawn gets the necessary nutrients for an early start next spring. NPK Value 18-8-13. Gardena product code: 6440-22.

Supplied in packs of nine blocks.

One block is sufficient for approximately 110 sq. ft (10 sq. mtr) or 20 3' (1 metre) flower boxes or 3 to 5 fruit trees.

Fertilisers provide nutrients for your plants which they need to keep healthy. Although there is a huge list of nutrients and elements the majority of fertilisers will show an NPK value, with each element given a number to indicate the percentage present in the given fertiliser.

NPK indicates the presence of the following nutrients:

  • Nitrogen - helping to build the stems and leaves of plants.
  • Phosphorous - encouraging healthy root growth and improved yields.
  • Potassium - for improving general plant health, flavours and flowers.
