Organic Coir Pots and Jute Sack from Harrod Horticultural

Here's a real organic story - Organic Coir Pots and in a Jute Sack that are grown, then used for growing in themselves before finally returning to the soil! It's not only the environment that benefits from this natural production line - plants raised in the 8cm and 10cm diameter pots enjoy air pruning (which encourages a thicker, stonger root system to develop), never get pot bound and suffer no root shock when planting, which will welcomed by plants who hate having their roots disturbed, such as courgettes. These wonderful pots are available in the two sizes above and are packaged in a organic natural jute sack which can be used time and time again in the garden - before composting!

• Coir pots available in 8cm or 10 cm sizes
• 10cm pots packed in quantities of 10, 8cm pots in 15's
• Pots remain stable above ground for a year and biodegrade in the soil after 6 weeks
• Pots add texture to the soil as they degrade
• Can also be added to the compost heap as a valuable source of carbon (brown material)
• Jute bag can also be composted after use
• Plants grown in these pots benefit from air pruning
• No transplanting shock
• Ideal for cucurbits and courgettes in particular
