Manufactured to the same high specifications as our Cold Frame, this free-standing Easy Access Mini Greenhouse combines the cold frame at the top with a sturdy lower section providing even more growing space.
Access to the top of the greenhouse is via a single hinged sloping lid with sturdy locking brackets for ventilation.
Top section has an 8" (20cm) high front panel enables seed trays to be placed right up to the front edge.
A removable 6" (15cm) wide x 48" (122cm) long aluminium tray 8" (20cm) from the top of the greenhouse is ideal for seeds trays or pots to catch maximum light.
Two sturdy sliding doors form the front of the lower section, allowing access into the whole area and numerous ventilation settings.
19" (48cm) from the base is a10" (25.5cm) wide removable aluminium shelf providing extra valuable growing area.
To grow plants from the floor to the top of the greenhouse; remove one or both of the two intermediate aluminium trays between the top and lower sections, without affecting the strength of the structure.
Light enough to be easily moved from site to site or fit permanently against a house wall, shed or fence.
Dimensions: 4' (122cm) long, 2' (61cm) deep, 5' (153cm) high at the back sloping to 3'8" (112cm) at the front.
Design
Designed and manufactured at Two Wests and Elliott, our range of high quality Easy Access products have been developed to make the best use of space available whilst helping to provide the correct environment for healthy plant growth, hardening off or over-wintering.
Greenhouse Frame
The sturdy structures of the range are created using frameworks of 16 gauge maintenance-free, lightweight aluminium bolted together with aluminium round head bolts and nuts.
Greenhouse Glazing
The Cold Frames and Mini Greenhouse combine these high quality structures with glazing of almost clear, 4mm thick double-skinned polycarbonate. Virtually unbreakable, this safe, shatterproof glazing is UV stabilised and has a life expectancy of approx. 10 years.
The air gap formed by the two layers of polycarbonate sandwiched together creates effective insulation properties, helping to keep plants warm in the winter, cool in the summer.
Glazing on all sides and top allows for excellent light transmission, helping to prevent plants becoming 'drawn' or 'leggy'. |
