The blade is sharp both on the tip and edges of the blade.
"A few dandelions and other persistent weeds are starting to appear in gaps in the pointing of my old stone terrace. These need to be removed, as their roots can become difficult to shift. To stop the weeds reappearing, I am going to repoint the gaps by scraping out all the loose soil and debris, then brushing in a dry mixture of four parts sand and one part cement.."
