This Gripple Universal Plant Support Starter Pack is an economical way to provide your climbing plants, vegetables and fruit (for example clematis, wisteria, climbing roses, raspberries, tomatoes, fruit espalier) with a strong, durable support.
Contents:
30 metres of Plastic Wire - 3mm diameter, lightweight, flexible plastic wire to train your plants onto. Can be threaded through vine eyes, around posts etc and cut to length using a pair of secateurs (there is no metal core - making cutting easy and providing a rust free support).
4 green plastic Joiners - remove the need for twisting and knotting of the support wire, which can cause weak points. Within the joiners are serrated rollers which allow the wire to pass smoothly through in one direction only, if any load is applied in the opposite direction, the rollers bite, locking the wire in place. Use to produce secure joins and allow minimum effort to be used to create highly tensioned wires for maximum support as plants grow. |
