Forming the main artery of automatic watering systems this strong Gardena 1/2" (13mm) Supply Tube securely carries water from the tap to where it's required in greenhouse or garden.
High quality, UV stabilised 1/2" (13mm) strong black tubing.
Can be used above and below ground (buried in soil or compost or covered with mulch).
When laying the supply tube around your greenhouse or garden use the specially designed connectors to route the tube around corners or to create branches without restricting the flow of water.
To prevent the tube from moving out of position use tube pegs (to hold the tube against soil) or clips (to retain the tube on firm surfaces).
Use the specially designed drippers and spray nozzles directly into the wall of the supply tube or connect 3/16" (4.6mm) branch tube and insert drippers etc into this less conspicuous tubing.
When operating from a single tap Gardena recommend using:
Up to a maximum of 120 metres when watering with drip heads ONLY.
Up to a maximum of 30 metres when watering with a mixture of drippers, spray nozzles and sprinklers.
Gardena product codes: 1346-20 (15 metre coil), 1347-20 (50 metre coil).
Supplied either per metre, or in coils of 15 metre or 50 metre lengths, simply purchase as many metres as required.
To make installation of the Supply Tube easy, when you first receive the coil of piping you need to uncoil it and allow it to relax - laying it flat on the ground and weighing it down will help.
You can make the tube more flexible and easier to work with by soaking it in warm water - this will make fitting connectors, drippers, nozzles etc even easier. |
