Automatically water your plants with ease by installing one of our Overhead Spray Kits. By generally spraying throughout the greenhouse or poly tunnel you will help to promote healthy plant growth by providing water to both the base of the plants and their foliage.
General spray watering is favoured by many commercial growers as it not only waters the plants but also helps to reduce the temperature in tunnels or greenhouses lacking ventilation.
Designed for use in 10' (3.03m) wide greenhouses or poly tunnels the kit includes:
Fixing supports and bolts - to attach to the framework of the greenhouse near the ridge to hold the suspension hooks.
Metal suspension hooks - to suspend from the fixing supports, securely holding the system just below the ridge of your greenhouse.
Rigid PVC tubing - with pre-drilled holes to take the nozzles and with all the connectors required (already attached).
Snap-on brass hose coupling - used to connect 1/2" (13mm) hose pipe (available to purchase separately) to the PVC tube.
Spray nozzles - 360 degree nozzles are supplied with overhead spray kits for total coverage (spraying the entire greenhouse). For half coverage (to water one side of the greenhouse) the kits are supplied complete with 180? nozzles.
Kits are available to suit greenhouses 8' (2.44m), 10' (3.03m), 12' (3.66m), 15' (4.57m), 20'(6.10m) , 25' (7.62m), 30' (9.14m) or 35' (10.67m) long.
Please note: a minimum water pressure of 25psi is needed to operate this spray system i.e. it can only be run off mains water or a good pumped supply. It can be run manually or automatically by adding a Computer. |
