When watering outside, if it rains heavily, pre-selected periods of watering can deliver too much water - this can be manually overcome by using the override facility or automatically by linking any of the Gardena computers to a Moisture Sensor.

Moisture is sensed by a probe, when soil moisture rises above your chosen level the Sensor stops all watering. When the soil dries out again the Computer resumes its programmed period of watering.

Supplied with a 5m cable for plug-in connection to the computer (a 10m extension cable is available to purchase separately).
