This Electronic Leaf Controller is an up to date version of a tried and tested idea - the 'electronic leaf' which gives accurate control of your plants water requirements.

The control box is operated by mains electricity and transforms the supply to a safe 24 volts.

Connected to the control box via a 7? ft (229cm) lead is the moisture sensor (the 'leaf') and the electrical lead from a solenoid valve (not included).

To use position the 'leaf' amongst the plants to sense the amount of water falling on them. When it dries it sends a 'message' to the solenoid valve which opens and allows water to flow to your misting equipment.

After the chosen length of mist burst has elapsed (variable between 3 to 10 seconds) the control box sends another 'message' to close the solenoid and the whole cycle continues to repeat.

The automatic system can be overridden to give continuous spray/mist is required.

Suitable for use in mist propagation systems where frequent short periods of misting are essential to maintain a film of water on the leaves.
