Gardening and growing things is both educational and healthy for children. Better to see kids outdoors than watching TV. Once they know where the food comes from, they may even lose the taste for junk foods. Take your kids down to the allotment and watch them grow!

Growing for the future

We are new to allotments having only taken over our plot right at the end of 2007. We have a baby daughter who is 'helping' us on the plot so this blog is about the ups and downs of allotmenteering with a small child at the centre of it
