The information I have is online in the main article -

Aminopyralid Herbicide Residue in Manure Killing Crops

if you have specific questions regarding safety of eating contaminated food, effects on grazing animals etc they should be addressed to DOW directly.

I would like to know if it is possible that peas, for example, may look fine and seem unaffected but still be unsafe to eat. Our potatoes were terrible and we have thrown them out, but we believe the pea bed may have been treated with the same contaminated manure in 2007.

Hi,

I have my own manure from my horses. Are you saying that the contamination came from the bedding that the manure was on? Or that the horses ingested some weedkiller through the pasture and then contaminated the droppings?

It would be interesting to know what the source of the contamination was! I usually use something called "aubiose" as bedding. It is a hemp product. I don't use a lot of it.

My field gets spot-sprayed with Grazon 90 sometimes. Could that actually contaminate the horse (!) and then the manure? You keep the horses off the spot-weeded sections for at least 2 weeks.

Thank you!
