		<description>I nearly got Winston this year myself but I went for Swift in the end. Hope the lime doesn&#039;t cause scab on the potatoes - they (potatoes) tend to prefer a pH around 5.5.

You can be too precious on these things though, most of the time they get through OK.</description>

		<description>Yesterday(28/3/08) probably the nicest day we&#039;ve had in weeks, I planted 6 rows of winston first early potatoes.. fingers crossed, I limed the plot earlier in the year, I never saw one wire worm yesterday, I&#039;m hoping the lime&#039;s seen them off.</description>
