hi, I too like John1 have just found your site but unlike him I am new to allotments, last year myself (margaret) and my daughter became fledglings and took up the challenge of clearing a site. We did not get far! but today we have just aquired another,i was like a child with a new toy because it is just ready to start growing on. How fantastic is that,
get ready because I will need lots of help. Hope you are willing to support us,and who knows if ever we are in your area you could get a visitor, with goodies of course just to show off

I am in the north east (MIDDLESBROUGH) so I will be about 4 weeks behind you but will look forward to your info.

Hi John

What do you recommend sowing indoors now for transplanting later on the plot?

My daughter has a wonderfully sunny window ledge which is willing to rent to me …. I kid you not, the next Richard Branson in the making.

I am still enjoying the site
