Allotment Diary for November 2004Finally it isn't raining and I have some spare time. In fact it has been a really nice sunny day, if a little chilly. After a busy week tied to the computer, I really needed some fresh air and exercise.Best laid plans of mice and men oft gang a-gley. Managed 3 and a half hours today, although the last half hour was spent putting the world to rights with the allotment rep. The nice chap from the council kept his promise and a load of leaves was delivered right to the plot today. From freezing cold the weather has switched again. It was 14°C today at lunchtime. Managed an hour on the plot today, despite the rain. Had to leave when it threatedned to drown me. Yet again rain stopped play! Although the light was beginning to fade, which would have stopped me in half an hour The cage of leaves is full on plot 29 and three parts full on plot five.
