Allotment Diary for December 2004Nearly Christmas and I haven't managed to set foot on the plot - apart from harvesting a few parsnips, carrots and leeks - all month!A glorious day, the sun shining from a blue sky! So to the plot to try to catch up. Happy Solstice! The pundits were right and we had a white Christmas and very beautiful it was as well. Now the snow has been melted away by the rain and temperatures have soared into double figures again.
