The cage of leaves is full on plot 29 and three parts full on plot five.

And my back aches!!

I emptied most of the comfrey barrel onto the onions and garlic - the fertiliser should do them good. The rest went onto the leafmould heap. may well assist their breakdown but can't do any harm.

Also added more wood chippings to the path by the compost heap on plot 5.

The soil is pretty wet so digging is not really a good idea but plot 5 is really in need. Anyway, I harvested a few leeks and away at sunset.
